The Haus der Kulturen der Welt ("House of the World's Cultures") in Berlin is Germany's national centre for the presentation and discussion of international contemporary arts, with a special focus on non-European cultures and societies. It presents art exhibitions, theater and dance performances, concerts, author readings, films and academic conferences on Visual Art and culture. It is one of the institutions which, due to their national and international standing and the quality of their work, receive funding from the federal government as so-called "lighthouses of culture."

  • In live and close to this building does not look as beautiful as it seems in the photo, but overall, it still seemed pretty to me. Especially if you look at it not separately, but in a kind of composition "the center itself, the pond and the sculpture in the center of the pond". This place hosts exhibitions, film screenings, music concerts, dance and theater performances by artists from various countries of Asia, Africa and South America. Events are divided into several topics: art, cinema, media, dancing, theater, music, literature, society, science.
  • The towers have 4 bells which chime on the hour. Theatre space next door, which is a huge bowl amphitheatre can only be seen if you go to a performance. The roof however is the biggest open roof space ive ever seen. Easily can hold 200 people if not more.
