In an industrial area in an old locomotive roundhouse, Classic Remise Dusseldorf--a combination of living museum, parking lot, and service center--houses an extensive collection of vintage automobiles. Admire the vehicles in the collection, as well as many privately owned ones on display, or peruse those that are for sale. You can also find clothing, model cars, accessories, spare parts and even garages here, too. Second only to its partner location in Berlin, it is an excellent destination for auto enthusiasts. Admission is usually free, except during special events; check their website for conflicts with your intended visit. Classic Remise Dusseldorf reviews
Pretty cool place. Lots of weird and rare cars, it's free too so good place to go on a rainy day even of you're not that bothered about cars you'll probably find one you like. Building is cool too... more »
This was a really neat place to visit. No entrance fee. It‘s like a mix between a museum and a classic car show. They have maintenance bays on site. more »
Great place for car and car design enthusiasts. The access is free. Also the toilets. A restaurant is available inside. Easily reachable through public transportation.
A car museum with a twist. This very open building use to house a train station so very cleverly it has been turned into a huge show room , with actual garages for storage(over flow too ) and tuning companies The thing here is a lot of the cars are actually for sale ,some very expensive ones mind. From e-type Jaguars and beyond It does not matter if you are a car fanatic or just curious ,this place is great to just wonder around (careful to not scratch someone's potential new car) With a restaurant and a well laid out informal way of doing things ,this is a two hour or so joy. All sorts of cars ,ages and varying degrees of rarity makes this a decent alternative to the usual car museum (or museum on general )
