Originally built as an Augustinian monastery, Lutherhalle/Lutherhaus now serves as the most important Protestant Reformation museum in Germany. Home of Martin Luther for most of his adult life--he moved here in 1508--this was the setting for his theological breakthroughs and conversion from monk to leader, as well as where he wrote his 95 theses. Explore Luther's room, the Grand Hall, and the lecture hall where Luther taught up to 400 students at a time.   • This was truly eye opening visitation to me. Martin Luther was indeed a vessel used by God during that age. Staffs were super friendly and the tour guide was informative as well. A must place to visit if happen to be around nearby.
  • Interesting place. I came for the Cranachs and the ten commandments are great fun. But there are portraits and a lot more
