Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia houses some of the world's most important sculptures and artifacts from Etruscan civilization. This 16th-century palace, formerly the property of the pope, contains objects from some of Italy's oldest civilizations.   • Extensive collection of Etruscan works. The most impressive pieces are large funeral sculptures or temple gables. But even among the smallest pieces there are real gems! I didn't expect the villa to be so beautiful: architecture and exquisite frescoes.

  • It's certainly not a priority, but if you've got a little time ahead of you, it's worth a visit. To group with Villa Borghese for example. Beautiful gardens!

  • Beautiful exposition in a wonderful place. The exposition is really well curated (just missing some English translations). The villa is absolutely beautiful
  • Great museum,facinating historical information and artifacts ,friendly helpfull staff. maybe needs some better refreshments.
