  • I often go to Rome and this year I wanted to rediscover the Pamphilj Gallery. Located along the central Via del Corso, just starting from Piazza Venezia, it presents a remarkable collection of paintings and stucco, enriched this year by private apartments, for which you have to pay a piece surcharge of only 2 euros. I recommend it, for a dip in art.

  • It is the descendants of the Doria Pamphilj family who see to the restoration of the palace and tell us its history through time. Some family members still occupy parts of the palace. Obviously it's not Versailles! But his visit allows a foray into the lives of the people of power in Rome in the 16th century and introduces us to decorative arts (tapisseries, ornamental frescoes and many paintings). It's true that the price of admission is expensive but are all, we enjoyed our visit

  • This a great little secret find. What a beautiful place. Stunning found it better than the Vatican. Great audio that is very interesting. Halls the best I have ever seen. Interesting story behind the place and family that live there. Do visit the tea rooms as well best club sandwiches and coffee. Highly recommended to view.
  • Amazing, worth every penny and minute. The audio-tour is so very amusing, the paintings and sculptures are outstanding and so is the architecture. Don't forget to visit the house for only €2-extra. Highly, very highly recommended!
