Go shopping at Porta Portese, a huge flea market that takes place weekly. You will find anything you can think of here, including furniture, clothing, antiques, books, jewelry, purses, artwork, albums, leather, and much more. This is also a great place to go for bicycle-related purchases and repairs. When you shop, keep in mind that bargaining is acceptable here, and you can usually get a cheaper price. Most stalls only take cash as payment. Arrange to visit Porta Portese and other attractions in Rome using our Rome trip planner .

Non esistono piú i banchi con abbigliamento usato americano, gli unici rimasti vendono i vestiti dei cassonetti. Sconsigliato more »

Kaynaklarda Roma'nın en büyük bit pazarı diye geçiyor. En büyük olduğu doğru ama kesinlikle bit pazarı değil. Eski ve ilginç eşyalar bulmak hayaliyle gitmemek gerek. Ancak kıyafet (özellikle t-shirt, ... more »
Sources say it's Rome's biggest flea market. It's true it's the biggest, but it's definitely not the flea market. You can't go dreaming of finding old and interesting stuff. But go if you're going to buy souvenirs like clothes (especially t-shirts, sweet shirts, imitation bags, etc.) or key chains, openers. You can get the same goods in tourist shops much cheaper. For example, souvenirs in the 3-5 euro band can be bought for 1 euro and t-shirts in the 15-30 band for 5-10 euros. In the meantime you can drop jeans for a surprise 1 euro. It's built on a very long street, it's exhausting to walk from start to finish, but you don't have a choice. Because there's no other way out. You're either going to come back or you're going to go forward. There's a café and a toilet right in the middle.View original

This is a street market the likes of which you will have to travel far and wide to beat. Everything from a pin to an anchor is sold here. Bargains galore. Shoes, handbags, shirts, printed teeshirts the list just grows and grows. When you visit Rome make it your business to go to this market. You are sure to pick up a bargain.

The most AMAZING flea market I have EVER been to. If you are in Rome, make this locale an excursion on a Sunday morning. It extends for blocks and blocks and is so densely crowded that you need NOT bring a purse or bag, as there are plenty of clever pickpockets around. You can find antique linens, or new shoes. It is a must for the full Rome experience. A+++++!
