Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Saint Tudnos Church and Tacla Taid - Anglesey Transport and Agriculture Museum and cafe. Criccieth Castle and Penmon Point will appeal to history buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to St. Michael's Old Church (in Betws-y-Coed), Newborough Warren & Ynys Llanddwyn (in Newborough) and South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve (in Holyhead). Solva and Carew Castle & Tidal Mill are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from Tenby with a short trip to Dolphin & Whale Watching in St. Davids, about 1 hour away.
