Made up of five picturesque towns on the Ligurian coast, Cinque Terre is Italy's answer to the French Riviera.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Footpath Monterosso - Vernazza and Santa Margherita di Antiochia Church. Do some cultural sightseeing at Centro Storico del Paese di Tellaro and Castello Doria. Spend the 18th (Tue) exploring nature at Parco Nazionale Cinque Terre. There's more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Borgo Storico di Manarola and hike along Sentiero Monterosso - Vernazza.

Centro Storico and Academy Of Florence Art Gallery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Attractions like Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Campanile di Giotto make great kid-friendly stops.
