There's lots more to do: buy something for everyone on your list at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, explore the world behind art at Pinacoteca di Brera, step into the grandiose world of Castello Sforzesco, and get lost in a book at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

Called "Oporto" by many, the city of Porto along the Duoro River lent the country and Port wine their names. Portugal's second-largest metropolis dates back to the 4th century, representing both a rich cultural past and industrial present through its architecture and style.
Palacio da Bolsa and Porto Cathedral (Se Catedral) are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at Museu Serralves and Museu Nacional da Imprensa. Get out of town with these interesting Porto side-trips: Convento de Cristo (in Tomar), Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima (in Fatima) and Batalha Monastery (in Batalha). And it doesn't end there: contemplate the waterfront views at Douro River, take in the exciting artwork at Belomonte 20, get a taste of the local shopping with Livraria Lello, and snap pictures at Ponte de Dom Luis I.
