Holyhead is the largest town in the county of Isle of Anglesey in Wales. Step off the beaten path and head to South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens. Get out of town with these interesting Holyhead side-trips: Llanddwyn Beach (in Dwyran), GreenWood Forest Park (in Y Felinheli) and Beaumaris (Beaumaris Gaol & Beaumaris Pier). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Benllech Beach, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Parys Mountain, relax in the rural setting at Foel Farm Park, and make a trip to Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station.

Llandudno

Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at West Shore Beach and Great Orme Copper Mine. Change things up with these side-trips from Llandudno: Nercwys Forest (in Nercwys), River Rafting & Tubing (in Llangollen) and Church of St Peter (in Ruthin).
