The country's capital and largest city, Berlin is a diverse urban center boasting a lively nightlife and countless things to do.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Stadtkirche and Castle Church. Discover out-of-the-way places like Lutherhalle/Lutherhaus and Kloster Chorin. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Berlin: Gartenreich Dessau-Worlitz (in Worlitz), Marmorpalais (in Potsdam) and Magdeburger Dom (in Magdeburg). Dresden boasts a long history as a royal residence of many Saxon kings.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Mon): step into the grandiose world of Fasanenschlosschen Moritzburg, then see the interesting displays at Gedenkstatte Bautzner Strasse, then examine the collection at Parkeisenbahn, and finally stop by Tradition & Form.
