Pugh's Garden Village Radyr Reviews
The scones we had were far too big, & when we tried to slice them in half they just crumbled to bits, sooo dry & tasteless. Otherwise this cafe is brilliant. Get rid of scones please. more »
This is a great centre, fantastic garden centre with the added additions of a works, maidenhead, procook shop, pet shop and a nice cafe with a super butchers in it whose stir fry is outstanding, well.... more »
Lovely garden village well worth a visit. There is a variety of shops to visit offering a wide range of clothes/shoes/ food and drink. There is a garden centre with a large range of plants and shrubs. Also a superb choice of Christmas lights and novelties. There is a large display of both tropical and cold water fish and all the accessories required including fish tanks both complete or you can build your own. There is also a cafe on site that provides snacks main meals and hot or cold drinks. Parking is free and there are limited disabled spaces.
Nice selection of shops together in one unit, apart from the actual garden centre which is across the road. The ability to walk through each shop into the next is an added bonus, particularly in the rain, whilst I imagine that also works well for the retailers for increasing footfall. The toilet facilities are unisex but when I visited were clean and tidy with enclosed cubicles which are of a good size. The small cafe in the farm shop sold a nice selection of sandwiches and toasties alongside both hot and cold drinks which were reasonably priced. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices in the garden centre itself were relatively expensive and the layout inside was a bit disordered. Outside the plant selection was good and easy to walk around - mostly under cover. If fish are your thing then I would highly recommend a trip to the aquatic centre which has copious amounts of both goldfish and tropical fish.
