On the site of the ruins of Cistercian Cambron Abbey, Pairi Daiza is a privately owned botanical garden and zoo. Across 55 hectares (140 acres), several themed gardens represent different parts of the world. Wander through the Chinese-themed buildings and plants of the Chinese garden, home to cranes, red pandas, and muntjak. In the Kingdom of Ganesha, discover Indonesian plant life, temples, and Sumatran elephants. Catch sightings of giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and bison from aboard the garden's train. Visit the oasis greenhouse full of tropical plants, such as bamboo, banana trees, and hibiscus, as well as meerkats, giant turtles, and crocodiles. Loved the concept of the parc All the animals have very nice adapted spaces. Enough toilet facilities Love that you can bring your own food and drinks even though the prices for food and beverages...

I'm going to this parc once a month, I feel it's good for the all family. The only thing I would like to see happen is more periodic event since we now almost know the parc by heart.

This place is amazing. A huge expanse of zoo and geographically themed parks merged into one site. The price is well worth it in my opinion. There is so much to see and do that I don't feel the need to describe it in this review. Just see for yourself. Plenty of space to roam. Several locations to eat. You can stay over night in several location in the park. Friendly staff. Coordinated events. Huge parking lot. Get the annual pass if you plan to visit more often, it will save you a lot of money. Well worth at least a few hours of your time.
Pairi Daiza has won the best Zoo of Europe Award. And that is exactly how to describe this place: in superlatives! This is not only a magnificent zoo (with a huge collection of animals), this place also houses an incredible collection of plants and stones, architecture from all over the world, a collection of antique functioning steam trains and accessories and a super cool playground for kids! The latest addition is simply stunning and makes you forget you are in a zoo. Definitely check out the on-site lodges for an unforgettable experience. If you visit Belgium, this visit must be on your bucket list!
