Impressive artist! Her drawings are dark and full of emotions.

The Käthe Kollowitz is such a special space—first and foremost, they use their space to spotlight other artist whose careers have shaped our current understanding of art but go overlooked in larger museums/galleries. Second, the thematic grouping of her works and the biographical snippets through the museum really connect the viewer to her artwork. If you are in Köln discovering art, I highly recommend this space. Note the entrance is via the galleria and up, find the elevator to bring you to the top floor. They have a €6 entrance fee if you aren’t a student.
