Blarney Castle & Gardens
Steeped in legend, Blarney Castle & Gardens boast a mystical stone claiming supernatural power to endow anyone who kisses it with the gift of great eloquence. You can test this legend by kissing the stone while hanging upside-down from the top of the castle's tower. Once you capture the power of this magical stone, tour the castle's extensive gardens, featuring several natural rock formations with whimsical names like "Druid's Circle" and "Witch's Cave." As you follow the grassy paths, try to spot different kinds of ferns growing here, some of which are the tallest of their kind in Ireland. Check online for a printable map of the castle's grounds, and take advantage of discounts by booking your tickets in advance. Absolutely worth going to see Blarney Castle, especially to walk inside and see the wishing stone. It's a huge ground to cover with so many interesting things to see, from poison garden, lake, druid stone, witches kitchen, wishing steps to the legend it embraces. Beautifully designed architecture of the castle. Worth spending half a day there.

Castle was great. However you can only shop at the gift shop on the day you purchase entry to the castle. I went back the next day and they said I had to have a ticket for the same day. I said "I want to spend money here and you won't let me?" The answer was "no". There were 3 employees and no one else wanting to buy anything as it was 930 in the morning. Whoever owns this place should make it so that items can be purchased even without entry. The place accross the street was much friendlier.
