  • Beautifully restored and with old and new wings nicely merged, this is a fine gallery to drop into and feel at peace. It has a great shop, and lots of interesting exhibitions. Great works here too...

  • I’m not an art person but this was a nice way to spend an hour or so, especially on a rainy day. It’s free which makes it an easy decision. Several famous artists have a couple paintings here. We went when they first opened in the morning and there was almost no one there. It was kinda fun to have the museum virtually to ourselves.
  • Absolutely beautiful. Free admission—located in the center of Dublin. Most certainly worth the visit; the art is astounding and the building not only historic, but breathtaking. Plan on being there for a couple of hours at least. Staff very helpful and friendly.
