A 3-km (1.86-mi) stretch of golden sand, Playa de Son Bou qualifies as the longest beach on Menorca. Rent a lounge chair to relax in between swims in the calm, clear water. Pull up at one of the small bars for a refreshment. At one end of the beach, discover the ruins of a 5th-century church, the Basilica Paleocristiana de Son Bou. Nudists mix with clothed beachgoers here, but behavior remains appropriate. Lovely beach. Cold water and some jelly fish today (25/04/2013). I can see the beach would be full in summer and although it is long, it is not wide at all. Shallow waters so great for children.

Lovely sandy beach with free parking, fairly short walk from the car park to the beach and plenty of sand to walk along. There is a little restaurant that serves drinks and ice creams that you can take away. The sunbeds can be purchased for €10 for all day, which was a little on the expensive side, but if you're a tanner or having nothing else planned I guess it's alright. If you keep walking down the beach away from the cliff side, then you will come to where most of the nudist people tend to settle.

One of the best beaches on Menorca, lovely sand, clean, safe and carefully watched over by two life guard stations at the Son Bou end. Also two decent cafe/restaurants. Lots of sunbeds with umbrella shades, again at the Son Bou end. Take a walk further up the beach and you'll find more space with less people. Behind the beach is the Prat de Son Bou nature reserve. There is a lovely walk you can take to the far end of the beach, to the Punta d’Atàlis. Just be aware that you can only access the beach from two points, at either end, nowhere in between!
