Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.On the 15th (Thu), steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, and then explore the ancient world of Colosseum. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Vatican Museums, pause for some serene contemplation at Pantheon, and then ponder the design of Trevi Fountain.
