Although decidedly industrial on the outskirts, Liege also boasts impressive architecture.
Attractions like Musee communal de Herstal and Musee en plein air et Tour St Martin make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Liege's surroundings by going to LeRoux Tower (in Trois Ponts), Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery (in Henri-Chapelle) and Charmille of Haut-Maret (in Theux).
